Community Solutions (CS) will serve as a pilot center for Online Dispute Resolution or ODR. ODR programs have been used in various forms for several years, especially in commercial online product and service disputes. Community Solutions will leverage this technology and apply it to our dispute resolution needs.
Community Solutions (CS) will participate in Oregon's USDA Certified Agricultural Mediation Program (OCAMP), developed and managed by the Six Rivers Dispute Resolution Center in Hood River, Oregon. Along with the Eastern Oregon Mediation Center in La Grande, Oregon, our mediators will work in partnership to implement OCAMP in Central Oregon counties.
Community Solutions (CS) recently contracted with the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (ORPD) to provide facilitation services for the Upper Deschutes Advisory Group (UDAG). In their management authority role in overseeing the State Scenic Waterway Program, OPRD has called together eight stakeholder organizations to collaboratively work together to review the underlying needs, rules, and future development of portions of the Upper Deschutes State Scenic Waterway.
Community Solutions (CS) has recently begun a collaborative partnership with the High Desert Education Services District (HD-ESD), Regional Achievement Collaborative (RAC), Restorative Justice Coalition of Oregon (RJCO), and several Oregon Community Dispute Resolution Centers (CDRC) to bring Restorative Justice (RJ) to Central Oregon schools.
